Getting started
Open Plugins → Route Optimiser and choose a route. The map shows the shops in their current order and how far that path is.
Optimising
- Optionally click Set start point and then click the map where the day starts — your warehouse or depot. Tick Return to start if the rep comes back at the end of the day.
- Click Optimise. The new order is drawn on the map with the distance saved.
- Check the list on the right. When you are happy, click Save this order.
The saved order is the shop order reps see in the field sales app and on the route map, and drivers see in the delivery app.
Good to know
- Distances are straight-line distances between shops, so real road distances are a little longer — but the order is still a big improvement on a random one.
- Shops without a map location cannot be placed. They keep their place at the end of the list. Add locations under Manage Route → Customers.
- Your start point is remembered for next time.
